Schedule DAILY SCHEDULE Monday-Thursday Preschool & Kindergarten Open Play - Snack - Morning Circle - *Work Cycles Circle - Story - Lunch - Open Play/Playground Time Half day program ends at 12:45pm Preschool Continues - Kindergarten class begins Story, Rest/Nap Time - Afternoon Work Cycles, Circle - Snack - Indoor Play/Playground 3:30pm program ends
Late Day begins/ends at 5:30pm Friday
Show & Tell, **Special Interest Programs School begins with a morning snack followed by Circle. We take attendance, sing songs, dance, address calendar, review rules & announcements. Work Cycles then begin by separating the children into 3-4 random-aged groups. AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN Though Montessori is designed to work as a multi-aged community, our afternoon Kindergarten is structured to address just our Kindergarten students including a portion of playground time. Our Kindergarten: Begins at 1:00pm after Playground Introduces worksheets and Montessori lessons Gives us the opportunity to work 1 on 1 with Math, English and Writing. Will be based on individual abilities **SPECIAL INTEREST PROGRAMS This year we will be incorporating a block of time for several different programs each Friday. These may include simple home economics, music & movement, dance, drama, PE, & library trips. If we introduce them now, interest is piqued and will hopefully last a lifetime.
